International Symposium on Vehicle Inspection & Certification - (ISIC)
ICAT in association with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Govt. of India had organized 3rd International Symposium on Vehicle Inspection & Certification (ISIC 2018) on 29th&30thNovember, 2018 at New Delhi on theme “Roadworthiness through Inspection”.
The symposium was inaugurated by Shri Priyank Bharti - Joint Secretary (MoRTH), Ms. Neeti Sarkar - CEO & PD (NATRiP),Mr. Hans-Jurgen Schimpgen - Vice President (Applus+) in presence of Shri Dinesh Tyagi - Director (ICAT) and Shri M.J. Singh - Convener ISIC 2018.
The Symposium was attended by about 150 delegates from the Central and State Transport Departments and Automotive Industry especially I&C equipment manufacturers and operators related directly with the Inspection & certification of automotive vehicles. The symposium provided the common platform for various state transport department officials and experts related directly or indirectly to the automotive field and general test lane manufactures/operators for successfully implementing I&C regime in India in the phased manner. The two days of symposium was supported by Applus+, Rosemarta Technologies, VTEQ, MAHA & DEKRA.
