🛡️ About (PSL)
The Passive Safety Laboratory (PSL) at ICAT is one of India’s premier crash-testing and occupant protection facilities, established to certify vehicles against both Indian and international safety standards. The laboratory is ISO 17205 accredited and equipped with advanced testing infrastructure for vehicle safety assessment and validation.
Passive safety systems are designed to minimize injuries and fatalities in the event of a collision by protecting vehicle occupants and vulnerable road users. The laboratory provides comprehensive testing and evaluation services to assess the effectiveness and reliability of these safety systems under various impact conditions.
