ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS LAB
EEL at ICAT incepted in 2013, is amongst the best maintained and managed Electrical and Electronics laboratory compliance with ISO 17025 and accredited by NABL & A2LA for a diverse scope. The Devices we test include VAS, SLD, CNG-LPG Components, Horns, Batteries, Motor, Wiring Harness, White Goods, IT Equipment/Audio Video devices, Medical Devices, ITS components, EVSE, Subassemblies related to CASE (Connectivity, Autonomous, Sharing/Subscription and Electrification) Technology etc. EEL is also capable of doing core projects on HEV/EV. We also have Deep Penetration in Various panels for formulation of national test standards under BIS as well as AIS. We are always ready to take challenges for any new customized test requirements.
Major Technical capabilities are:

- Testing, validation, certification of XEV components, ITS devices (IS 16490 & IS 16833), SLDs (AIS018 & ECE R 89), Batteries (AIS048, AIS 156, AIS 038, ECE R100, IS 16046, GSO 36, IEC 62133, IS 14257, JIS D 5301 & JIS 5302), VAS (AIS 076), VTS (AIS 140 & IS 16833) etc. Testing, validation & certification of Automotive E & E components (switches, relays, radiator fans, RFIDs (IS 16722) , wiring harness (AIS 026, AIS028 and ISO6722), ignition coils, horns (IS 1884 & ECE R28), actuators, sensors, lamps etc.)Approvals as per tender requirements of JNNURM (IS 16833), state authorities etc. for auto dippers, vehicle tracking systems ( AIS 140 & IS 16833), bus ITS (IS 16490), speed limiters devices (AIS018 & ECE R 89)
- Design & product validation (DVPV) as per industry requirements of E & E products
- Consultancy related to EMC solutions, product development and trouble shooting
- Expertise in battery validation (including advance energy storage systems)
- Coordination of multi-country homologation (USA, Brazil, Africa, Gulf, China, Taiwan, Europe, Russia, ASEAN countries etc.)
- Safety testing for Telecom products (IS 13252-1/IEC-60950), Medical (IEC-60601/ IS13450-1), EVSE (IEC 61851 / AIS 138-1/AIS138-2/IS 17017) etc.
- Testing of Alternate Fuel components like CNG regulator, LPG regulator, CNG/LPG gas air mixture, CNG/LPG hoses, CNG/LPG rigid pipes, CNG/LPG Injectors as per ISO, IS and ECE and other OEM specific standards and Various LNG components as per ISO 15500.
- Genset power train components like Gas air mixture, Zero Pressure regulator & Solenoid Valve as per CPCB norms
- Microdot Testing as per AIS 155
- Coordination of WPC approvals, CE markings, ICASA and other special purpose approvals
- Testing as per international standards (ISO, IEC, SAE, JIS, GSO, FMVSS, UNECE etc)
- ECU test and validation
- Testing, validation & certification of white goods (washing machine, induction motors, fans, geysers, color TVs, computer monitors etc.)
